What’s a ride without challenge?! This 37 mile, 2400 feet of elevation gain incorporates the Poudre Trail, Laporte dirt, Rist dirt, a visit to Whale Rock, Lory Valley Trails before wrapping back around into town. A special made route for friend Jess.

Riding through Lory State Park is an exceptional treat during the week if you can swing it. Hot dog at Swing Station optional.

The Stats:

  • Distance: 37 miles

  • Paved: 30%

  • Climbing: 2400 feet

Notes: Lots of cut-off options on this route. Cut off at Taft Hill Road or Kluver Reservoir for shorter ride back to town on Poudre Trail.

Refills: There is water at Lory State Park. Stop by Me Oh My Pie for coffee or Swing Station for a beer if that is your style.

Tires: The WTB Resolute will get you through the single track sections.
