Poudre-Stove Prairie-Glen Haven-Estes-Horsetooth

It turns out that you can’t ride bikes all day if you don’t start in the morning. This is a big one. Pace yourself up Poudre Canyon before the steep 5-miles up from Stove Prairie. Rest as much as possible on your way to Masonville before you start climbing again with a false flat to Glen Haven. Take the dirt cut through to Thompson Canyon before heading up to Estes Park. Wrap back around to Thompson Canyon for a well-deserved descent down. The last few short climbs back over Horsetooth always hurt, but damn, you made it.

The Stats:

  • Distance: 115 miles

  • Climbing: 7900 feet

  • Category: Epic

Notes: There are lots of options to cut this short.

Refills: Ted’s Place, The Mish, Masonville Mercantile, The Dam Store, Kind Coffee, Horseooth Mountain Park.

Tires: We like the WTB Exposure as a tubeless option.
