Old Man Winter Training Ride Collab

Starting at Mugs on College and Olive and ending at Brave New Wheel bike shop. This is a really nice classic clockwise eastern loop. Also check out the Old Man Winter event in February for a fun group race or ride environment. For 2022 this route is on January 29th, we’ll try and update this section for 2023! RSVP here.

The Stats:

• Distance: 48 miles

• Paved: 20%

• Climbing: 1800feet

Notes: Classic Colorado smooth dirt and gravel roads.

Refills: Nothing on course really so fill up at Mugs and make it back to Brave New Wheel for a brewski.

Tires: All fun all day on this route. It’s not very technical but a 40mm WTB Nano is a fun overbuilt scenario. Anything 28mm or bigger will get the job done.
