Rolling East Loop

Fort Collins butts up against the Rocky Mountains, which means there is plenty of climbing to be had. This route however, is all about the Front Range plains life. The route is gently rolling with excellent views of the mountains.

The Stats:

  • Distance: 34 miles

  • Climbing: 1000 feet

  • Category: Short

Notes: None

Refills: Lots of options on this route. Check out Harbinger Coffee on the south end of town. If you are more in the mood for a beer, try Timnath Beerwerks. When you wrap back around at the end of the route, Me Oh My Pie is a favorite for local cyclists.

Tires: The plains have goatheads especially in summer. Consider running tubeless or, at the very least, carry an extra tube. We like the WTB Exposure as a tubeless option.
